We believe that any form of sexual violence, domestic abuse, harassment, discrimination, bullying, assault or hate crime are never acceptable. Our campuses, accommodation and surrounding areas should be a safe space to work, study and socialise for every member of our UoB community.

Domestic abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, culture or socio-economic background. Abuse can take many forms, including controlling, coercive, threatening, degrading and violent behaviour, including sexual violence, both within couple relationships (current or previous) or between family members. It can be an individual incident, or a pattern of incidents, but always involves one person having control and power over another.
