General Internal Support

The Community Safety Team provide advice, practical help, and information with regards to safety on campus. Located in the North Lodge, at the top of the Green Heart, they offer a safe and confidential environment to discuss issues you may be experiencing. They can also provide guidance and advice on support services that can help, at the University and externally.

General External Support

Citizens Advice provides useful information on a range of different areas including but not limited to; hate crime, harassment, sexual violence, domestic abuse, and discrimination

Victim Support. When you report a crime to the police, they should automatically ask you if you would like help from an organisation like Victim Support. But anyone affected by crime can contact them directly you don’t need to talk to the police to get Victim Support help.

Neighbourhood Policing Teams. The Police website provides a list of Neighbourhood Policing Teams in your area, who you can contact to gather details of your Neighbourhood Policing Team; how to arrange a visit from your Neighbourhood Policing Team and local support agencies.

The Samaritans provide emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Call 116 123, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
